Adding Understanding

We've had a long weekend but I saw a video tonight that warrants my first YouTube post. This video is just too funny for a life-long gardener.

In truth it was far more than a day. It was several days of the help of friends and family that got us to where we are. We've been working on getting the house renovated and into shape for things to come. The new floors are down throughout and the painting is largely done. Nature's call even helped our aging pup water test the floor this morning but it held up well.

For the next two years I'll be continuing to represent Sandy Valley on the Sandy Valley Citizens' Advisory Council.

There are few things in life as annoying as a bad manure fork when one is cleaning corrals. Bad in this case is a metal-handled beast that has lost the rubber grip portion. Without the rubber grip the resulting leather glove on smooth metal routine means the fork rotates quickly when loaded and picked up. Tonight that came to an end when I stopped by the feed store and picked up a wooden handled fork on the way home. Life the way it should be.
